Henry Mintzberg

Hi, today I write about a person related to the career Public Administration. This person is called Henry Mintzberg, he is born in Montreal in Canada. He was whom discovered how really think and act the manager.

He is very importan for the study of the Public Administration from century XX because, contribute with a theory news respect to the organization and their coordination. He say that he management is really a universe chaotic, unpredictable, frenetic and confused. And wrote three books related to it, "The Structuring of Organizations", "Power in and Around Organizations" and "The Strategy Process".

For example, he development the division of organisational structures into five: - The simple structure - The machine bureaucracy - The professional bureaucracy - The divisionalised form - The adhocracy. This theory is contemporar and very used in the present. 

I like Henry Mintzberg because I think that is a person intellectually brilliant and contribute with knowledge to progress of the public administration.
